It is apparent to me that this interviewer thought he was approaching an individual, Obama supporter, black man,which was supporting from an emotional vs. an informative motivation.
We must all be able to respond to any question posed and presented to us with the same degree of information and certainly some degree of emotion in order to make sound decisions regarding our future.
