Chris Matthews is back at it. When Congressman Eric Cantor tries to
claim that Republicans aren’t responsible for the past eight years of
Republican policies, Tweety tears him to shreds.

“The way we keep score in American politics is the party that’s in power for eight years and runs the White House — and 3/4 of the time runs the Congress and the White House — takes the heat when things go bad. Congressman Cantor, you’re trying to change the rules now and saying, ‘oh, if we take off our uniforms and don’t say we’re Republicans this week, the people will be fooled.’ I’ve never heard of that happening in politics.
[…]
“You have to take responsibility, sir, for the policies of this administration that have gotten us into this mess. You can’t walk away and say, ‘oh, we had nothing to do with this,’ can you? Say it if you want to. It’s your right.”
Whatever you may think of Matthews, he’s sure entertaining when he lights up these Republican stooges.

Yes, yes, yes! Finally! Crucify these miserable losers for us Christopher!
Chris Matthew's is the single finest, most qualified, most genuine journalist on the face of television today, period, paragraph! His credentials dwarf 99% of the people that he interviews each day including this boneheaded neocon from Virginia (Eric Cantor).
Sick-em Chris! Sick-em and don't let up! As Barack Obama himself said recently . . . the Republicans need to "own" what they've done to this country and to working families coast-to-coast. So do all of those who recklessly and foolishly voted for George W. Bush. He and his kind have deviously manipulated and speculated and swindled and stolen their way to the top via perpetual, unregulated Wall Street fraud - they have quite literally destroyed this entire nation. So take no prisoners!
Carly Fiorino is a perfectly good example of the arrogance that these miserable clowns all harbor, but sadly, those of us who voted for Al Gore and John Kerry in 2000 and 2004, respectively, knew this fate was coming over eight years ago. And now its here.
