Evidently, the Republicans are so freaked out over the fact that they have a doomed party, that they have stooped to the lowest of the low...attacking Barack's wife, Michelle.
The Tennessee GOP is currently running this attack ad on television to try to drum up support for their flagging base.
And the really sad part about it is, that they have resorted to misrepresenting what Michelle actually said.
In her speech, Michelle said that for the first time she was *really* proud of her country.
This clip has edited out the *really* and made it appear to say that for the first time she is proud.
Pathetic.
Watch this, and then contact the Tennessee GOP and tell them what you think of their sleazy tactics.
Finally please tell TN GOP we'll be showing that full correct video clip on portable DVD players/laptops everywhere we go, since it's quite popular, as you can tell by Michelle's audience. Remind the TN GOP that, while we're too nice to bring up unfavorable comparisons to Cindy McCain, the media - including the blogosphere - won't be so civil.

IT amazes me that they couldn't find any native americans or African-americans to use in this video. Couldn't they find any historically oppressed Americans? Surely, they must have some Native American or Black republicans in their neck of the woods? Or don't they consider us Americans? -C

msladydeborah, I think all of us have a responsibilty to get the truth out in this campaign regardless of the issue. We no longer have to rely on MSM to be our surrogates. Lets send a strong message that this behavior will not be tolerated.

Good looking out!
I wrote the TN GOP. And I will be linking to this post later on today.
We are going to have to do battle along with Barack to keep this type of activity from happening without response.
I am not surprised that the GOP is desperately trying all manner of actions to save their sorry behinds!
